Drop-off Rip-off

Dropping someone off used to be free.

Now all 20 of the UK’s busiest airports charge. Gatwick and Stansted share the highest fee: £10. Four in five drivers call it a rip-off, says the RAC.

The Government has said it will review drop-off charges (RAC, 15 Oct 2026). Gatwick is one of the few UK airports where you pay the drop-off fee .

Tell your MP

The Government says it will review airport drop-off charges. Ask your MP to make sure the review covers early and late flights with no public transport, how many fines airports issue, and people charged just to reach a train.
